Have you ever thought about how helpful and what is the function of craft in art design? The answer is Yes. There are so many important links between art and craft. Based on the definition, the craft is a skill in making things, especially with the hands. Craft is a value that can apply to any endeavor, that could be something you can wear, eat, gardening, film, or music. Craft is applied creativity which helps the creator’s idea turn into reality by their own hand. Not only that, but the value of goods which are made almost by craft will also be more expensive than other things which get helped by machines. That product is not just born to be used as one function. It created a great value in art, applicability, and hidden behind the stories of creation. For example Hermes - a famous fashion brand from Paris. It not only got so popular by the brand. It is also known by how meticulous the creator had put into the bag and created the beauty and fashion hand bad which is so popular.

 

Knowledge and creativity always topics had been argumentative. It also causes a lot of fights in my head. The more I learn about something, the more I feel I don’t really understand clearly about those things. Sometimes you will get stuck on what you have learned and it causes you to block your creativity. Understanding too much leads your brain to imagine that picture exactly the same as what you have learned.  However, if you don’t know anything, your brain could start to be more creative. Just the same as when you are a kid, you tend to ask more questions and you can easily get ideas on doing orginative. Therefore, if you understand the concept and meaning of something and bring it up to your reality application. You will have a more colorful and standard way to follow when doing creativity art. So, knowledge and creativity have a very close relationship. Knowledge allows you to access and create perfect things on the faster way.

On the way to complete me. I hope I could have the chance to rub with different types of art. This world is so colorful and I don't want to lose any part of it. And to me, Art is a perfect way that could help me describe this feeling.
